Job description

Vascular Surgery – OR & Outpatient (ACNP & RNFA)

Baylor Scott & White Health – Fort Worth is seeking a skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) with an RNFA to join our Vascular Surgery team. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic and OR responsibilities, with a heavier emphasis on outpatient care while the physician focuses on surgical procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for an APP looking to work in a dynamic, growing vascular practice.

Key responsibilities include managing outpatient vascular surgery patients (at least 3 clinic days per week), conducting pre- and post-operative care, follow-ups, and new patient consults; rounding on inpatients and assisting in the OR; collaborating closely with the vascular surgeon and team to ensure comprehensive patient care; and maintaining accurate documentation, including treatment plans, clinical notes, and patient education.

Qualifications include ACNP licensure in Texas and RNFA, 2+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred (vascular, surgical, or related specialty), comfortable managing outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and assisting in the OR, strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.

Schedule & compensation includes 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, weekday and weekend rounding on rotation with another APP, additional pay provided for after-hours and weekend coverage, and an average patient census of 12.
