Exceptional Roofing, LLC is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Commercial Roofer to join our team. This full-time position is ideal for skilled professionals specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of TPO, EPDM, and PVC membrane systems. Located within our dynamic field operations unit, this role focuses on delivering high-quality roofing solutions to our commercial clients. We emphasize creating value through excellent workmanship and enduring roofing systems.

Position Highlights:

  • Status: Full-Time

  • Location: This is not a remote job; field presence is essential.

  • Travel: Exceptional Roofing, LLC serves commercial clients across multiple states, and this position involves regular travel away from our home office in Murray, KY. Team members will travel in company-provided vehicles; personal vehicles are not required for work-related travel. This role requires full availability for long-distance travel, overnight stays, extended work hours, and weekend assignments as needed to meet project timelines and client expectations. Consistent attendance and a willingness to travel are essential requirements for all field team members.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, weld, and seal TPO, PVC, and EPDM membrane roofing systems, and install metal roofing components according to precise specifications.
  • Perform tear-offs and preparation tasks on existing roof structures as needed for new installations or repairs.
  • Efficaciously diagnose sources of leaks on commercial roofing systems and generate detailed reports and plans for repairs.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized roofing equipment, ensuring operational safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain immaculate and organized working environments on job sites and within company facilities.
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company-specific safety guidelines to ensure a safe workspace.
  • Assist in the handling and management of materials, equipment loading and unloading, along with inventory oversight.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of company property, including work areas and vehicles, ensuring all assets are in top condition.
  • Ensure that company vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained, ready for operational use at any time.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessitated by project demands and critical deadlines.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general labor or physically demanding work environments, with a strong ability to perform hard, consistent labor.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a crew in fast‑paced, outdoor conditions.
  • Willingness and ability to learn commercial roofing techniques, tools, and materials, with or without prior roofing experience.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and wind.
