Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LPN, CNA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. As appropriate, takes into consideration the patients' age in the performance of any task.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings
  • Educate patients and families, and serve as an advocate for long-term health and recovery
  • Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines

What We're Looking For:

  • Active RN license in TX or compact state
  • 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred
  • BLS required; ACLS required within 90 days of hire
  • Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient care
  • Compassionate, team-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

Preferred Critical Care Intermediate

Preferred Education Associates or better in Nursing. Bachelors or better in Nursing.
