Job description

Colquitt Regional Health System is currently looking for an Exceptional Registered Nurse to care for our residents at Colquitt Regional Senior Care and Rehab. The Quality RN performs duties related to infection prevention, wound care/pressure ulcers, and other quality measures including but not limited to:
Perform infection prevention (IP) education and training while ensuring IP measures are maintained among residents
Track, trend, and initiate interventions related to quality improvement opportunities in real time
Attend and report at quality meetings
Assist with the admission process
Assess/monitor wounds and perform dressing changes
Care for residents with indwelling catheters, central lines, oxygen tubing, wound vacs, bipaps/cpaps, etc.
Perform weekly skin audits
Track and trend antibiotics
Assist staff by working on the cart or other resource interventions as needed
This position is Monday through Friday dayshift with occasional weekends or nights.
Job Requirements:
  • Current GA RN license.
    Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross OR obtain Basic Life Support certification through Colquitt Regional Medical Center Educational Services upon hire.
