Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of residents
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Offer support and guidance to: License Vocational Nurse (LVN), Direct Support Professionals (DSP)

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
  • One (1) year experience as an RN; required
  • CPR certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Facility Information:
  • Our facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N)
  • Caregiver (DSP) to people supported ratio is usually 1:3, sometimes as high as 1:1 support
  • Nursing caseload typically ranges from 6-15 residents
  • Our home sizes are small, including 6-bed and 15-bed facilities
  • High-acuity care is limited or prohibited by facility regulations
  • Our Immediate Care Facilities provide wound care per licensing requirements, ranging from simple wounds to a maximum of stage I pressure ulcers
  • Hospice care is very limited and is provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers who come to our homes
