Registered Nurse (RN) IMC Department

Work location: Texas Health Cleburne, 201 Walls Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033

Work hours: Full Time Days (7A-7P) 36hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements

Department highlights:

      Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 200 patients/day

      12 bed Intermediate Care Unit that is like family with an opportunity to train in ICU.

Here's What You Need

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
  • BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS within 90 days required.
  • CPI within 90 days required.
  • 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 2 years experience as an RN in acute care setting preferred. Med/surg Tele or Stepdown experience preferred.

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

      Assesses the patient

      Plans the care of the patient

      Intervenes as appropriate

      Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

      Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

      Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

      Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
