Registered Nurse (RN) – Non-Medical In-Home Care Agency 

Job Description 

Position Overview 

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our non-medical in-home care agency. The RN will play a key role in supporting the well-being, safety, and comfort of clients by providing oversight, assessments, and guidance to caregivers, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional personal care in their homes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients to determine non-medical care needs and develop personalized care plans. 

  • Supervise and train in-home caregivers on best practices for personal care, infection control, and safety procedures. 

  • Monitor client status, update care plans as needed, and communicate changes to agency staff, caregivers, and family members. 

  • Serve as a point of contact for families regarding care concerns, and provide education about care practices and available resources. 

  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and ethical standards. 

  • Complete required documentation, reports, and maintain accurate client records. 

  • Participate in quality assurance activities to improve service delivery and client satisfaction. 

Qualifications 

  • Current, active RN license in the state of employment. 

  • Experience in home care, geriatric care, or community health preferred. 

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality. 

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. 

Work Environment 

  • Client homes; occasional visits to agency office. 

  • Flexible schedule may be required, including occasional evenings or weekends.
