GLC Group is hiring a Registered Nurse โ€“ Psych for a 13-week travel contract in Bayard, Iowa!

Position Details:

  • Location: Summit โ€“ St. Gregory Recovery Center, Bayard, IA
  • Unit: Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment
  • Start Date: July 20, 2026
  • Duration: 13 Weeks
  • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule: 3x12s (must be available for weekdays and weekends)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Pay:

  • Travel Pay: Up to $2,111.15/week gross
  • Overtime: $70.00/hour after 40 hours/week

About the Facility:

  • 50-bed inpatient substance abuse treatment center (20 female/30 male)
  • Adult patients (18+)
  • Voluntary admissions only
  • No restraints
  • Physician and administrator on call 24/7
  • 2โ€“3 days of orientation with 12-hour training shifts
  • Please note: This facility is located in a remote area, so be sure you're comfortable with the location before applying.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 12 months of RN experience
  • BLS required
  • Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable with:
    • CIWA/COWS assessments
    • Urine drug screens (UAs)
    • Maintaining firm, empathetic boundaries with patients
