  • Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.
  • This position is responsible for patient care coordination on designated shift for BMC in patient care areas in collaboration with the administrator on call.
  • To ensure quality patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the organization, this position provides direct operational support for the hospital on a shift basis, acts as a clinical resource person for the staff and acts as a liaison between staff and management, assisting the administrator in determining staffing needs and identifying problems within the campus.
  • The House supervisor provides the communication link between manager, staff, patients, physicians and others. This position serves as a resource to staff for patient bed assessment and in the planning of emergency nursing interventions.
  • The position facilitates problem resolution and collaborates with administration, and the Medical Director in assessing quality of care provided, identifying staff strengths and weaknesses and in evaluation of staff performance.
  • Operational issues are identified by this position, and the position works to take action and correct problems.
  • Interface with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning is also required.
  • The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications.

Job Requirements:

  • ADN or BSN
  • Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
  • A minimum of 3 years of applicable RN experience
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • ACLS (upon hire)
  • PALS (within 60 days of hire)
