About this Position
Serve as the Nurse Supervisor for LPN/RMA staff within the OB/GYN department and assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimal supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
  • Vocational/Technical - Nursing-LPN or RN
    (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Six (6) months of OB/GYN clinical experience required unless externship completed in the OSU clinic system.
  • At least 6 months to One (1) year administrative experience, project coordination.

Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses:
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse or RN as required in the State of Oklahoma. Current CPR certification and valid Driver License required.

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
  • Skilled in delivery of patient care and procedures, medication administration, triage, and direct patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required. Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment required.

Preferred Qualifications
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:
  • Referral/authorization experience preferred.
