Job description

Nursing Supervisor

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, assists in supervising nursing services and sets the standards of care to ensure a professional, skilled program of care and treatment so that each resident will receive benefit that accounts for medical, physical, emotional and psychological needs. Fulfills policies and objectives establishing quality nursing care as set forth by the Administrator and standards of the facility. Supports and practices the philosophy, objectives and standards of Gracywoods II and the Nursing Department, and directs the revision of these as necessary to ensure quality of care to all residents, and to assure resident safety.
