Job description

Caring Hands Consulting is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to provide strong clinical leadership and ensure excellent, compassionate care in our onsite setting in New Orleans, LA.

Position Summary

The Weekend RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day nursing operations during weekend shifts, supporting resident/patient care quality, and ensuring staff is aligned with clinical standards and facility procedures. This role serves as a visible leader on-site, coordinating care and responding promptly to clinical needs as they arise.

You will supervise nursing staff, support documentation and compliance expectations, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for those receiving care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise weekend nursing staff, coordinating workflow to ensure coverage, efficiency, and continuity of care

  • Monitor and support quality of clinical care, including follow-through on care plans and escalation of concerns as needed

  • Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and adherence to established policies and procedures

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clinical issues during the shift, including coordination with other care team members

  • Support a positive, professional environment that prioritizes safety, compassion, and teamwork

Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure to practice in the relevant state

  • Prior nursing experience with the ability to lead others and coordinate care during a shift

  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond appropriately to changing conditions

  • Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and sound communication skills

  • Ability to work onsite in New Orleans, LA on a part-time weekend schedule

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation

Hourly rate: $40.00 - $43.00
