Job description

RN On-Call Position

$4,000 signing BONUS!

The RN on-call provides direct patient care with special emphasis on control of pain and other symptoms to hospice patients after hours.

Shift: 8a-8p every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday

Must be Licensed as an RN in the state of PA.

Ability to relate and treat terminally ill patients/families and their particular problems.

Must possess strong patient assessment, patient management and documentation skills.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skill.

Access to reliable automobile with proof of liability insurance.

Communicates pertinent findings to the physician, implements medical treatment plan, instructs family accordingly.

Identifies problems/needs of patient of caregiver, making recommendations for pain management and comfort/symptom management.

Responds to calls promptly when received from answering service. Is able to prioritize.
