Shift Details:

  • 24 hours/week
  • Monday through Friday, AM/PM rotating between 0600-2230 utilizing a self-scheduling model with holidays and weekends scheduled occasionally.
  • Overtime is available.

Nursing Specialty: RN Corrections

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
  • Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedWI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
  • Minimum of one 1+ year within the last 3 years experience.
  • Registered Nurse license,
  • Valid BLS
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Additional certifications may be required
  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
