TITLE: Warehouse Associate
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
PAY: $22.00/hour

ABOUT THE ROLE: Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of general warehouse experience and is proficient operating Cherry Pickers, High-Drives and Reach Trucks. Preferred candidates have direct experience handling big and bulky items.
GENERAL DUTIES:
  • Use a cherry picker forklift to hand-pick and carry big and bulky items to and from warehouse racking
  • Receiving and replenishment of inbound inventory and/or picking of outbound orders
  • Accurately record all transactions using RF scanners and warehouse management system
  • Complete cycle counts and physical inventory processes
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned, including assisting in Load/Unload/Picking/Shipping/Receiving as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required
  • Power equipment experience, preferably an OSHA approved license
  • 6+ months of experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts and walkie-riders preferred but not required
  • Experience with handheld RF guns/scanners preferred but not required
  • 6+ months of experience operating a cherry picker preferred but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift/carry 0-75 pounds frequently and 75 - 150 pounds occasionally (team lift)
  • Must be able to push/pull up to 150 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to bend/twist/stoop/kneel/squat/reach frequently
  • Must be able to stand/walk constantly through entire 8-hour or 10-hour shift
  • Must be able to hold and operate a handheld scanner frequently
  • Must be able to reach with outstretched arms frequently
  • Must be able to reach overhead frequently
  • Must be able to work with exposure to seasonal temperature changes
  • Must be able to work up to 28 feet up on a cherry picker platform
  • Must be able to use a keyboard occasionally
