Job description

Access Sciences Corporation is an employee-owned, mid-sized professional services firm specializing in information management, technology consulting, and managed services. Our headquarters is based in Houston, TX, with a satellite office in Baton Rouge, LA. At Access Sciences, we are committed to delivering quality and exceptional service. The diverse nature of our engagements creates challenging and rewarding opportunities for growth!

Position Overview

4-month contract with potential for long-term employment

Access Sciences is seeking a Revit Integrator to join our team in Chandler, AZ. Your role at our company will be unique, as you will not create new drawings or models from scratch. Instead, you will act as a coordinator & upgrade specialist. You will audit and update existing drawings and models.

You will receive drawings and models from one of the many engineering firms we work with. It will be your responsibility to analyze the drawing or model and bring the content up to standard. Once the drawing or model is in compliance with current standards, the drawing management system library is updated, and a copy is sent to the requester.

Since we manage the drawings and models libraries for our client, you will also, at times, be asked to catalog and update the drawing library, ensuring everything is ready for future requests.

This is a great opportunity to expand your Revit & CAD knowledge and experience!

Key responsibilities for the Revit Integrator include:

  • Standardize, update, and maintain project models and integrate/transform them into Master Models for all disciplines while adhering to client's standards.
  • Support multiple project teams by fulfilling sheet and model requests to support ongoing construction or facility needs.
  • Analyze legacy CAD files to map previous versions of CAD standards to current standards.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to enhance efficient quality work processes while following a structured process.
  • Provide timely communications to team leads, track and provide input data for metrics and key performance indicators, attend and actively participate in progress checks/status meetings.
  • Coach, quality check, and peer review of work products done by new hires or junior staff members, as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Technical program degree or professional certification (Drafting, Autodesk, Architectural, etc.) is preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years of recent experience with Revit and AutoCAD tools, preferably working in the construction or manufacturing field, maintaining construction models and plan sets
  • Navisworks & BIM360 experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work independently
  • Takes the initiative to learn and apply new skills and tools
