Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager / Technical Project Manager (TPM) based in Netherlands.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of innovative financial technology products at the intersection of digital finance, payments, and blockchain ecosystems. You will drive the execution of complex mobile and platform initiatives while ensuring predictability, transparency, and operational excellence across engineering teams. Working closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders, you will transform strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and successful releases. The position requires both strong project leadership and technical fluency, enabling you to navigate discussions ranging from high-level business priorities to system architecture and development workflows. You will play a critical role in improving delivery processes, fostering team alignment, and ensuring scalable, secure product development. This is an ideal opportunity for a delivery-focused leader who thrives in fast-moving, highly regulated technology environments.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of mobile and fintech product initiatives, from technical discovery and planning through deployment and post-release optimization.
  • Own project forecasting, delivery timelines, and execution governance, ensuring realistic planning and maintaining high predictability across development cycles.
  • Manage project tracking systems and maintain accurate documentation, ensuring complete transparency into project progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and development-ready tasks.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and alignment, helping teams resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, sprint planning, estimation accuracy, and delivery standards.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between leadership and technical teams, ensuring strategic priorities are executed effectively without unnecessary executive intervention.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or Technical Program Management within fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong technical background in software development, quality assurance, business analysis, or related disciplines, with the ability to understand APIs, backend systems, architecture, and CI/CD practices.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional software development teams and delivering complex digital products in agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and adaptive agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor frameworks to business needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, including the confidence to challenge assumptions, estimates, and requirements when necessary.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Russian.
  • Experience with Jira and modern project management tools for planning, reporting, and workflow governance.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience, performance, and contribution.
  • Fully remote work environment with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to work with an international team focused on shaping the future of financial technology.
  • Clear career growth and professional development opportunities within a rapidly evolving industry.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy with direct impact on product delivery and organizational success.
  • Transparent, collaborative culture that values accountability, innovation, and open communication.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge fintech, payments, blockchain, and digital asset technologies.
