By focusing on creating genuine therapeutic relationships and maintaining a structured therapeutic framework, we strive to remove the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promote comprehensive wellness for all our clients.

Work Environment

This role is conducted in a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and accessibility. Our organization embraces a modern approach to therapy delivery, ensuring that your workspace serves as a supportive environment tailored to your professional needs. We provide all necessary technology and administrative support, enabling you to focus on providing excellent care without the distractions often found in traditional office settings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing various therapeutic modalities and interventions to deliver mental health care to individuals and families, addressing diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
  • Conducting thorough mental health assessments, with the goal of developing comprehensive initial discharge plans that cater to your client’s specific needs.
  • Facilitating individual, group, or family therapy sessions tailored to the treatment plans established for each patient.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of therapy services provided, ensuring compliance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Managing a caseload as assigned and providing appropriate follow-up to assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Actively participating in treatment team meetings, collaborating effectively with fellow staff members to coordinate services and enrich the therapeutic experience for clients.
  • Acknowledging and addressing client concerns with a solution-oriented approach, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population encompassing both adults and children/adolescents. You will be equipped to address a variety of mental health challenges, guiding clients towards improvements in their emotional wellness and life satisfaction through evidence-based practices tailored to their individual needs.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following credentials and qualifications:

  • Current state or national licensure as a professional therapy provider, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW certifications.
  • A profound commitment to supporting clients through their mental health journeys.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a mental health capacity, particularly with diverse populations. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is a plus, as well as familiarity with telehealth platforms and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to robust compensation, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Three weeks of paid vacation time annually.
  • Annual stock awards for eligible team members.
  • A supportive work-life balance with no required night or weekend shifts.
  • A collegial work environment enhanced by newly designed, modern offices.

At Sharpman Counseling, we value the professional development of our team members. Through continued training programs, mentorship, and opportunities to engage in specialized practice areas, you will find avenues for personal and career advancement.
