Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing effective mental health therapy techniques and interventions tailored to individual, group, or family therapy sessions.
  • Performing thorough mental health assessments and collaboratively developing initial discharge plans with clients.
  • Facilitating treatment planning by coordinating additional services, revising care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Documenting therapy services provided to clients in compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Maintaining an assigned caseload, engaging in treatment team meetings, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance care delivery.

  • Participating in continuous training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to the field of mental health therapy.
Preferred Experience

We encourage applicants with at least two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, particularly those working with a variety of age groups, including children and adolescents. Experience in applying different therapeutic modalities and a track record of successfully managing cases is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
