Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health concerns, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to formulate precise diagnoses.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate clients' goals and therapeutic needs, ensuring the use of evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, applying specialized techniques to address varied issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during acute mental health crises, utilizing appropriate tools and resources to stabilize clients and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards, while documenting the progress in treatment and the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, manage complex cases, and share insights regarding client progress and treatment adaptations.
  • Engage in client education by imparting knowledge about mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and community resources available to bolster their journey to wellness.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and partake in continuous education through workshops, training, and networking with peers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Active license as a Mental Health Therapist in Kansas (LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW).

  • Strong clinical assessment capabilities and diagnostic acumen are crucial for successful client evaluations.
