Onward Healing Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. This remote position will allow you to work from anywhere while providing critical telehealth services to clients. This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth platforms that ensure secure and convenient access to therapy. Our typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families, employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches.
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable mental health goals and provide ongoing support throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Document client sessions meticulously and maintain secure records that adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.
• Engage in regular supervision and professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.

You will work with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. The role requires sensitivity and flexibility, as you will adapt therapy approaches to the specific needs of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, ensuring every client feels valued and understood.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont is mandatory.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques and a demonstrated ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A strong capacity for independent work while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues to enhance client care.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, particularly with telehealth services. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, allowing for streamlined documentation and enhanced patient tracking.

The role offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
