Residential Flex Support Specialist

Community Associates, CSAC's developmental services program, is seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and dependable Residential Flex Support Specialist to provide person-centered support to adults with developmental disabilities across multiple staffed residential homes. In this position, it is very important to be able to adapt quickly to different residential environments while maintaining consistent, high-quality supports.

As a Residential Flex Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care while supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals, building independence, and participating fully in their communities.
What You'll Do
As a Residential Flex Support Specialist, you will:
  • Provide direct support to individuals in multiple residential homes based on staffing and operational needs.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships that promote dignity, independence, and self-determination.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, communication, and healthy living.
  • Support individuals in community activities, employment, volunteer opportunities, appointments, recreation, and social engagement.
  • Administer medications and accurately complete required documentation.
  • Follow behavior support plans, safety procedures, emergency protocols, and therapeutic recommendations.

What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Proof of automobile insurance meeting agency requirements.
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related transportation.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks and agency training.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or in human services.
  • Residential or community-based support experience.
  • Experience with electronic health records or electronic documentation systems.
  • CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and Medication Administration certifications, or willingness to obtain.

Job Structure and Compensation
Schedule : Guaranteed Sunday and Monday off with a weekly schedule that is adjusted based on operational needs of the multiple residential sites. The hours would include day, evening and overnight. 40 hours/week
Pay: $26.50/hour
