  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while also ensuring thorough record-keeping practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current with the latest mental health research and techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals and families who may have limited access to mental health care. We address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding clients toward healthier coping mechanisms and improved mental health outcomes through personalized care strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC) within the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of and compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse clientele and their families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, ensuring comprehensive client care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies is preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma recovery is highly valued.
  • Experience in telehealth counseling or remote therapeutic practices is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on your experience and caseload capacity.
