Your primary responsibilities will include conducting therapy sessions with couples, families, and individuals. You will utilize evidence-based practices to address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol abuse and intervention strategies
• Addressing psychological and physical abuse
• Facilitating discussions around grief and loss
• Resolving conflicts among family members and siblings
• Addressing communication difficulties within the family dynamic
• Providing support for blended families navigating remarriage
• Helping clients adjust to separation and divorce

You will use therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each family and individual you serve, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth.

The clientele you will work with includes adults and children/adolescents from diverse backgrounds, who are facing a myriad of challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in creating interventions that not only address immediate emotional concerns but also foster long-term resilience among families and individuals. By working closely with parents, couples, and family units, you will help guide them through their specific obstacles, ultimately enhancing their interpersonal relationships and overall well-being.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
