Urban Community Counseling Services is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated outpatient services team. Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced knowledge of family systems theory to facilitate discussions addressing communication barriers, relationship conflicts, and familial stressors.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services, ensuring clients' safety and guiding them through difficult situations with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate clients on relationship enhancement techniques, communication skills, and coping mechanisms to foster improved well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, clinicians, and other health professionals to ensure multifaceted care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing professional education and training to stay abreast of the latest practices and advancements in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid LMFT license in the state of practice, specifically in Massachusetts.
