  • Optimize application performance and system reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements
  • Ensure system scalability and resilience by applying AWS best practices for architecture and infrastructure design
  • Document technical designs, processes, and solutions to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability
Required Qualifications
  • Proven professional experience as a Python Developer building production-grade applications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional, team-based development environments
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with scientific data processing systems or pipelines
  • Familiarity with application modernization and legacy system migration projects
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Background in automated testing frameworks and quality assurance practices
Technical Skills
  • Python programming (required)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM
  • CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
  • Version control systems, particularly Git

  • Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
  • SQL and database management
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
