Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This is a full stack developer role with an emphasis on front-end development (80% front-end, 20% back-end). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility, bridging the gap between design and implementation. This position operates in an Agile/Scrum delivery model and requires expertise in modern web technologies including Angular, NestJS, ReactJS, and Java Springboot.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop web applications and sites that engage and retain visitors
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites
  • Manage latest requirements for cross-browser compatibility and page optimization
  • Develop application and sites to include social media and mobile functionality
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes
  • Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction
  • Articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring new ideas to the forefront frequently
  • Maintain excellent knowledge base of industry trends and developments

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 6-9 years of progressive experience in full stack development in an enterprise setting
  • Mastery of modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Strong experience with front-end frameworks: Angular, ReactJS, NestJS
  • Back-end experience with Java, Springboot, Microservices, and API development
  • Proficiency with JS frameworks (jQuery, ember.js, Foundation, Bootstrap), JSON, and graphic editing tools
  • Experience with responsive web design, fluid layouts, and mobile interfaces
  • Knowledge of source control concepts (Git, SVN, TFS)
  • Advanced skills in object-oriented coding and scripting (Java, .net/C#, php, ruby)
  • Experience with relational database modeling and creating advanced SQL queries/procedures

Pay range: $49.66 - $59.66 per hour
