This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus.

About the Organization

Elite Horizon Mental Health Counseling is an established outpatient mental health clinic committed to improving the well-being of children, adolescents, and their families. We specialize in a comprehensive array of mental health services, including counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other related disorders. Our approach emphasizes evidence-based therapies and tailored treatment plans that foster a nurturing environment conducive to growth and healing, reflecting our mission to promote mental wellness in our community.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexible scheduling to accommodate clients' needs, which includes evening and weekend appointments. As part of our dedicated team, you will collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychologists and educational staff, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for our clientele. The remote set-up allows for enhanced productivity while maintaining a strong support network within our engaging virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to understand clients' unique mental health challenges, strengths, and resources, creating a foundation for individualized treatment strategies.
  • Provide therapeutic services encompassing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Develop and implement measurable treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, setting achievable goals and interventions to track progress effectively.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to facilitate coordinated and holistic care.
  • Administer crisis intervention strategies when necessary, including risk assessments and safety planning to protect and support clients experiencing acute challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation that aligns with ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes designed to engage and empower clients while promoting community support and shared learning.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on school-aged children and adolescents as well as their families. Your work will address a spectrum of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related conditions. By actively engaging with students within the school environment, you will significantly impact their emotional and academic success, helping them build resilience and coping strategies necessary for their developmental stage.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating effective clinical practice and intervention skills.
  • Profound understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within school-based mental health programs or with young clients is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methods.
  • Strong background in crisis intervention and behavioral health management.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary between $80,000 and $100,000 per year, along with a range of comprehensive benefits, including:

  • Comprehensive health insurance, inclusive of medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement savings plans with employer contributions to support your long-term financial objectives.
  • Generous paid leave provisions, including vacation days, personal time, and recognized holidays.
  • Access to continuing education programs to enhance and expand your clinical expertise and professional skills.
  • Insurance coverage provided for clinical practice.
