Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and substance abuse histories.
  • Create personalized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also consider underlying mental health issues.
  • Lead individual and group therapy sessions, implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Work collaboratively with other treatment team members, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive care strategy.
  • Educate and engage clients' families in the recovery process, fostering a supportive network that encourages participation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Your role is crucial in guiding clients through the recovery process, fostering resilience, and facilitating the development of healthy coping strategies to combat addiction and improve overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid license such as LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD is required.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in substance abuse counseling, with knowledge of best practices and interventions for individuals with dual diagnoses.
  • Effective therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire clients towards recovery.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in telehealth counseling is a plus, along with familiarity with digital documentation and teletherapy platforms.
  • Specialized training or certification in addiction recovery or related methodologies will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and contributing to a supportive team dynamic enhances the practice.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
