• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, determining appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any underlying mental health conditions, tailoring approaches based on each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to care, contributing your expertise in mental health counseling.
• Provide education and support for clients' families, encouraging their involvement and understanding throughout the recovery journey.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with applicable regulations, ensuring quality and consistency in client care.

Our center primarily serves individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, many of whom may also be facing co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role as a Mental Health Counselor will be crucial in delivering empathetic support and tailored therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable recovery.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong theoretical foundation.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, with a robust understanding of substance use disorders and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, with an emphasis on client-centered care.
• Exceptional counseling and therapeutic skills, showcasing your ability to motivate and inspire clients through their recovery process.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, enabling collaborative work with other professionals in a remote setting.

• Demonstrated experience in a substance abuse treatment setting, especially in a virtual environment, will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing your ability to maintain efficient and compliant client documentation.
• Prior experience engaging family members in the recovery process, emphasizing the importance of a support system for clients.
