This full-time position allows you to provide quality mental health services from the comfort of your own home while contributing to the well-being of our clients in Los Angeles, California. This role is entirely remote, providing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from home. Our work environment is designed to minimize administrative burdens, allowing you to focus on patient care. While you set your own pace, you will also benefit from a structured schedule—available Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend commitments.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Document clinical notes and treatment progress accurately using our digital health records system.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.
• Participate in staff meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment strategies and client outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Listening Guide Therapy, you will serve a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your approach will be foundational in building strong therapeutic alliances, fostering trust, and creating a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• A master’s degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and valid California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Proficient in using digital platforms and telehealth software for remote therapeutic practices.

• At least two years of post-graduate experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents.
• Experience with group therapy sessions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
