Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and tailored evaluations to pinpoint clients' mental health needs. This involves listening attentively to clientsโ€™ concerns and histories, and translating these insights into actionable treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver effective therapy for individuals, groups, and families. Adapt your approach, whether using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other methods, to meet the distinct needs of your clients.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with case managers, psychiatrists, and additional healthcare professionals to create cohesive treatment strategies that promote holistic care.
  • Provide decisive crisis intervention in acute situations, demonstrating compassion and efficiency while offering immediate support to clients in distress.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts to educate the public about mental health services and to combat stigma associated with seeking help.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

  • Ability to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity while working with a diverse client population.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring efficient documentation and tracking of client progress.

  • Knowledge of and experience with various therapeutic techniques and treatment frameworks.
