• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including mental status exams, to identify client needs and mental health concerns.
• Provide tailored psychotherapy, counseling, and case management to a diverse clientele, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
• Document and maintain detailed case notes, progress reports, and individualized treatment plans to track client progress and inform future care.
• Exhibit a calm and empathetic demeanor in high-stress situations, working effectively to de-escalate emotional crises and provide appropriate solutions.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, case managers, and community resources, to coordinate holistic client care.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that align with client needs and promote a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Contribute insights and strategies during team meetings, fostering a culture of shared learning and improved quality of care.

The client population at our Community Health Clinic is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and with unique mental health challenges. You will work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. Your role will involve not only therapy but also advocacy and resource navigation to empower clients in their mental health journeys.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts licensure as a LCSW, with the ability to practice independently.
• A high level of empathy and emotional intelligence, enabling you to build rapport and establish trust with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapeutic services and using evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and documentation.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
• Understanding of resources available for clients, including local support networks and community services.

The base salary for this full-time LCSW position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer:
