Position Overview

Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. As an LPC, you will work remotely, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and also providing personalized, one-on-one support to clients.

Work Environment

This role is designed for full-time engagement, enabling you to work flexibly from a remote setting while being connected to our outpatient office. You will primarily collaborate with the Assistant Director, who will provide guidance and mentorship throughout your journey to deliver high-quality care. Our core working hours span Monday to Friday, ensuring a balanced schedule free from evening and weekend shifts, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ goals, preferences, and available options prior to developing tailored rehabilitation plans.
• Develop, monitor, and modify individualized rehabilitation plans that align with the clients’ unique education levels, aptitudes, physical capabilities, and employment aspirations.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other mental health experts, to create holistic rehabilitation programs tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Maintain organized case files and thorough documentation of each client's personal information, eligibility, insurance, services rendered, and detailed narratives of client interactions.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment approaches, adapting strategies as necessary to ensure goal achievement.
• Establish consistent communication with clients as they participate in job training, occupational placement programs, and other on-site initiatives, addressing any challenges that emerge during their journey.
• Engage with the clients’ family and friends to incorporate their perspectives into the care plan, enhancing the support network around each client.
• Timely analyze client needs, produce reports, and recommend additional resources or referrals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre, your client focus will be varied, encompassing individuals dealing with mental health disorders, mood disturbances, and life adjustments. By providing empathetic and informed care, you will contribute to creating structured pathways for clients to engage meaningfully with their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Possession of a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
• Proven experience working with clients experiencing mental health issues in either residential or outpatient settings.
• A collaborative spirit conducive to teamwork, showing a deep commitment to fostering positive change in clients' lives.
• Strong clinical competency in methodologies such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), alongside proficient documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications highlight essential credentials, ideal candidates will bring additional experience in specialized mental health modalities, case management, and familiarity with rehabilitation processes. Prior engagement with job placement programs or vocational training is highly valued.
