• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and readiness for change.
• Create personalized treatment plans targeting both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, utilizing client input and evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate engaging and effective individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each client and conduct group therapy sessions to foster peer support.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, sharing insights and strategies to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.
• Education and support for clients’ families will be integral, guiding them on how to best assist their loved ones during recovery.
• Keep detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards.

The primary focus of this role will be clients struggling with substance abuse and potentially co-occurring mental health disorders. Your interventions will not only help clients confront their addictions but also address underlying issues contributing to their substance use. By employing an empathetic approach combined with clinical expertise, you will guide clients toward recovery at every step of their journey.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.
• Demonstrated specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is required.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward positive change.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential to this role, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues.

• At least two years of experience working as a mental health counselor, specifically in addiction treatment settings.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and a strong understanding of integrated care workflows.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
