Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ substance use issues, mental health conditions, and treatment necessities, ensuring a complete understanding of each clientโ€™s journey.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on clients' specific challenges, integrating both addiction therapy and mental health interventions.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to motivate and support clients.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team by attending regular meetings, sharing insights, and ensuring cohesive care that encompasses all aspects of the client's recovery.
  • Educate and support families in understanding the complexities of addiction, providing them with tools to effectively participate in their loved ones' recovery journeys.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records, strictly adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations to protect client privacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients dealing with substance abuse issues; however, you will also address co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid clinical license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Possess a master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • Demonstrate specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling and treatment methodologies.
  • Proficient understanding of evidence-based practices for managing substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.
