• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions to clients, addressing their mental health concerns while ensuring confidentiality and safety.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, using evidence-based practices to help alleviate symptoms of mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance with insurance requirements, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Conduct regular assessments to track client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your counseling expertise and stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Sunrise Care Consulting, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and complex dual diagnoses. • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in providing effective therapeutic interventions.
• A reliable laptop/desktop computer equipped with a functioning web camera and stable internet connection to conduct remote sessions.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively, demonstrating both initiative and adaptability.
• Successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
• Willingness to accommodate some evening and weekend hours to better meet client needs, with the freedom to set your schedule as you see fit.

Experience with various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care practices, is highly desirable. Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms will also enhance your suitability for this role.
