Hospitality & Receptionist
Seattle, WA 98101
5+ Months Contract
Mon-Fri, 8am- 4:30pm
The temp will be responsible for maintaining meetings and events in a floor conference center. This will involve cleaning meeting spaces, moving furniture, setting up food, and overall maintenance of our space. Also, this role will act as a backup receptionist so will need some client facing experience. Someone who has previous hospitality or reception experience. Someone who is willing to learn and work in multiple roles. Must be able to be on your feet for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Occasionally will move furniture (tables, chairs, etc) and be able to lift 50 lbs. No free parking. Parking on-site is $22 - $25 per day. Located near ample light rail and bus routes.
Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down conference rooms and event spaces according to event requirements.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, podiums, divider walls, and other conference equipment.
  • Set up and break down catered food, beverages, ice, cups, plates, utensils, and napkins.
  • Provide food and beverage service and general hospitality support during meetings and events.
  • Greet clients and guests and provide professional customer service.
  • Provide backup reception support as needed.
  • Manage conference and hospitality calendars.
  • Perform conference room sweeps, including adjusting chairs, wiping tables, restocking supplies, and adjusting blinds.
  • Set up flip charts, whiteboards, and corkboards.
  • Maintain kitchens, pantries, conference rooms, and hospitality areas.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including coffee machines, refrigerators, microwaves, and ice machines.
  • Load and unload dishwashers and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and meeting areas.
  • Order and track inventory for office supplies, food, beverages, and other hospitality items.
  • Perform trash removal, dusting, restocking, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other general cleaning duties as needed.
  • Perform general clerical, copy center, mail, shipping, and receiving duties as required.
  • Distribute office supplies, packages, mail, and deliveries to employees or designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Work independently or as part of a team and assist with training team members when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of related hospitality, conference services, reception, or office experience preferred.
  • Previous receptionist or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
