Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
What You'll Do:
  • Implement behavior support plans and skill-acquisition programs for clients.
  • Collect observational, A-B-C, and daily data under the supervision of a BCBA or RBT Supervisor.
  • Assist with functional analyses, functional behavior assessments, and other therapeutic programming.
  • Model interventions for caregivers, parents, and other implementers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for skills tracking and billing purposes.
  • Work in a variety of settings: site-based, community, or in-home.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Support staff and families in program instruction.
  • Collect and measure data required by treatment plans, IEPs, BSPs, and other programs.
  • Participate in functional analyses, behavior assessments, and treatment planning meetings.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Complete required paperwork and reports, including billing and time tracking.
  • Use task analyses and chaining procedures to teach self-help skills.
  • Model and give feedback to caregivers on behavior support plans.
  • Attend supervision meetings and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or psychiatric disorders

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field

RBT Requirements:
  • Completed 40-hour RBT training with a BCBA based on BACB's RBT Task List
  • Passed RBT Competency Assessment Exam and BACB RBT Exam
  • Registered or in process of registering as an RBT with BACB
