Job DescriptionJoin our team in a specialized child and adolescent unit dedicated to providing care for patients aged 5-18 years who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis. We are looking for candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry. The unit emphasizes stabilization through a variety of group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, along with psychopharmacological interventions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
- Provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care to patients.
- Facilitate and participate in group therapy sessions.
- Administer psychopharmacological interventions as needed.
- NYS RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric mental health experience.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).
- CPI blue card.
