WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (BHT) / REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)?
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Matrix Behavior Solutions, LLC, you'll play a crucial role in providing direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals between the ages of 2 to 21. Working under the supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC), you'll implement treatment plans in various settings like homes, schools, daycares, and the community. Knowledge and skills required for the position are at least one of the following:
  • Complete required Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and case related trainings as assigned;
  • Provide one on one ABA interventions for children and adolescents in home school and community settings
  • Follow individualized ABA treatment plans to provide appropriate therapeutic services;
  • Transfer skills to school personnel and family members;
  • Attend weekly supervision;
  • Record data and chart progress daily.
  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no previous work experience; or
  • Persons with a bachelor level degree in any other field with at least 1 year of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents; or
  • Persons with an associate level degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor-level degree with 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescent; or
  • Licensed practical nurse with at least 3 years of full-time paid work experience that involved direct contact with children or adolescents.
  • Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BC-ABA.
  • MUST have a driver's license and reliable transportation of your own!
