Pediatric Radiology Detroit, MI
THE OPPORTUNITY
StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Pediatric Radiologist to join a cohesive team at a nationally ranked freestanding children's hospital in Detroit. You'll read exclusively pediatric studies approximately 90,000 exams annually across the main campus and satellites with daily teaching, a genuinely collegial team, and a hybrid schedule that respects your time. This is academic-pace radiology with real teaching engagement, not a reading mill.
PRACTICE DETAILS
• Weekdays 8 AM 5 PM, typically 2 3 pediatric radiologists on site
• 80% on-site with the ability to arrange periodic at-home reading; home PACS provided
• Equitable call: 1:6 rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• During call weeks, residents and fellows cover overnight with attending backup
• Must reside within approximately one hour for occasional fluoroscopy needs
• Full-spectrum pediatric imaging: radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy
• ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship on site
• Daily teaching of pediatric radiology fellows, radiology residents, and medical students
• Academic appointments available at multiple affiliated universities
• Technology: transitioning to Sectra PACS, dual-source 256-slice CT with FLASH, multiple magnets, new fluoroscopy and X-ray suites planned
• Dedicated Child Life support and experienced technologists
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center (ACS verified), ACR-accredited in MRI, CT, NM, and US

REQUIREMENTS
• MD or DO from accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship
• CAQ in Pediatric Radiology or eligibility
• Body imaging experience required
• Fetal imaging experience welcomed but not required
• Open to new graduates and experienced pediatric radiologists
• Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain
