Job description

Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologists to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and recent graduates to apply their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Position Details:

  • Openings: 5 positions available
  • Salary Range: $36.39 - $47.63 per hour
  • Shift Differential: Additional $2.25 per hour for night shifts and $2.50 per hour for weekend shifts
  • Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for a two-year commitment
  • Relocation Bonus: Available, to be discussed during the interview process
  • WILL ACCEPT NEW GRADS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams, primarily for inpatients and occasionally for outpatients.
  • Conduct imaging for emergency and level 1 trauma patients.
  • Utilize fluoroscopy with a C-Arm for surgical or sterile environment exams.
  • Perform portable exams, both at the patient's location and within the imaging department.

Equipment Utilized:

  • EPIC computerized patient charting system, Change Healthcare PACS, Carestream, GE, Philips imaging equipment, and OEC Surgical imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT, IEMA, and BLS certifications are required.
  • Open to new graduates and experienced professionals.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
  • Ability to guide patients safely and comfortably through imaging procedures and confer with providers as needed.

Schedule and Work Environment:

  • Work collaboratively with other team members, with no solo shifts required.
  • Rotating coverage for weekends and holidays.

Facility Information:

  • Main Department: 5 diagnostic rooms, 6 portable units, 1 Panorex unit
  • Emergency: 2 fixed rooms, 2 overhead mount trauma rooms, 1 portable unit
  • Surgery: 11 C-arms, 2 O-Arms, 2 portable units
  • Outpatient: 3 rooms located on campus
