Job description

The Machine Operator may be involved in many aspects of the production process, including: assembly, insulating with taping/winding equipment, and processing of material for production use. The Level 1 Operator will use electronic and printed documentation to assemble products, as well as set up and operate various pieces of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
We are specifically seeking candidates who are available to work on the night shift and weekend shift.
Shifts are as followed:
Weekend Shift (alternating) 1st weekend Friday - Sunday 6 AM - 6 PM; 2nd weekend Thursday to Sunday 6 AM to 6 PM
Night shift is Monday - Thursday 6 PM - 6 AM
What You'll Do
  • Adhere to all Company Safety, Quality, and Business policies/procedures, and maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
  • Use a tablet computer to generate the production documentation required for the operation being performed.
  • Perform work as per the Work Instructions, Bill of Material and build specifications used in their area of training.
  • Setup and properly operate the equipment utilized in their area of training.
  • Perform all required setup, self and progressive inspections in their areas of training.
  • Properly document required information on travelers, logs, reports and Red Tags
  • Maintain the tools and equipment used in your work area by using and storing properly, performing basic PM activities as required, and requesting service when necessary
  • Perform the work in their areas of training to acceptable levels of Quality and Productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Basic computer skills

What We Value
  • Technical diploma, trade school certification, or coursework in manufacturing, mechanics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience operating automated or semi-automated machinery
  • Experience with preventive maintenance or troubleshooting of machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, or SOPs
