Job description

We are looking for a Automotive Electrical Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service background and preferably with Ford certification. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ford Certification preferred
  • Competent in B-level tasks such as diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and engine servicing
  • Steady hands and sharp hand-eye coordination for precision work
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Confident in customer-facing situations and comfortable with basic computer functions
  • Friendly, optimistic outlook and motivated to continue growing professionally
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-energy work environment
  • Works well in a team setting and contributes to a collaborative atmosphere
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and service protocols
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving history
