Job description

Cimarron is seeking a part-time Proposal Analyst to support our business development and contracts team in preparing compliant, compelling, and timely proposals for government and commercial customers. This role will contribute directly to winning new business by ensuring proposals are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with solicitation requirements. This position offers flexible part-time hours, paid overtime when applicable, and the opportunity to work on high-impact aerospace and defense proposals.

Key Duties: Analyze solicitation documents (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and amendments) to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance needs. Coordinate with subject matter experts, program managers, contracts, and pricing teams to gather and validate proposal inputs. Develop compliance matrices, proposal outlines, and templates to support efficient proposal development.

Draft, edit, and format proposal sections, including management, technical, past performance, and resumes. Ensure proposals comply with customer instructions, contractual requirements, and corporate standards. Track proposal progress, schedule deadlines, and support color team reviews.

Assist with final production, packaging, and delivery of proposals (hard copy and electronic). Support post-submission activities, including lessons learned and proposal archive maintenance. Develop proposal graphics, charts, and visual aids that effectively communicate complex information.Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S

citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. 10 or more years of experience supporting proposal development for government or commercial customers. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with proposals in support of the Department of Defense, NASA, or other federal agencies.
