What are some unique challenges faced by weekend property managers, and how can they prepare for them?

Weekend property managers often handle urgent issues such as last-minute maintenance requests, guest check-ins and check-outs, and unexpected emergencies when other staff may not be available. Being proactive with communication, having a reliable list of on-call vendors, and maintaining clear protocols for guest inquiries are essential for success in this role. Additionally, strong organizational skills help manage overlapping tasks and ensure a smooth experience for both tenants and property owners during busy weekends.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend Property Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend Property Manager, you need knowledge of property management principles, basic maintenance, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with some roles preferring prior experience or certifications. Property Manager

Atlanta, GA

Who We Are

At Anchor Health Properties, we pursue better healthcare through real estate solutions.

We are a national, full-service healthcare real estate firm specializing in development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing, and investment management. Our integrated platform allows us to deliver customized, high-impact real estate strategies to health systems, physician groups, and institutional partners across the country.

From ground-up outpatient development to targeted investment strategies and day-to-day management of complex medical office portfolios, we bring deep expertise, a relationship-driven mindset, and an unwavering commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes through the built environment.

Our team is purpose-driven and people-focused—always thinking beyond the traditional “medical office box” to find innovative, value-based solutions. We are proud to be recognized as a 2026 Modern Healthcare Best Place to Work, adding to our accolades from Inc. Magazine, Revista/HREI, and Great Place to Work®.

Why Anchor?

We believe that when people feel valued, supported, and empowered, they thrive—and so does our business. At Anchor, it starts with the right foundation and our culture is grounded in our core values: Accountability, Innovation, Collaboration, Honesty, Ownership-Mentality, and being Relationship-Driven. These values guide everything we do—from how we work with each other to how we serve our partners and communities.

Along with a supportive culture pursuing excellence, here is what you can expect as part of the Anchor team:

  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance options for employees
  • $2,000 HSA contribution and 401(k) with up to 4% match
  • Generous time off: 15+ PTO days, 11 holidays, parental leave / short-term disability, and mental health days

If you are looking to join a team that is purpose-driven, high-performing, and embraces innovation—Anchor may be the place for you.

The Opportunity
As a Property Manager at Anchor, you are responsible for all operational aspects of the buildings you manage, and in conjunction with the assigned Asset Manager, facilitate occupancy of the buildings. Our Property Managers strive to perform a task as completely as possible, with the goal of fully taking the complete task off-of-the “plate” of the delegating management team member – expecting, at most, management’s review and approval. Our ownership-mentality mindset is built upon the assumption that our Property Managers may have the opportunity to present, explain, and defend the work product to our client – and that the client’s response to the timeliness, quality, thoroughness, format, and conclusions of the employee’s work product will form his or her impressions of Anchor Health Properties.
