Job description

Propane Delivery
  • Safely deliver propane to residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial customers.
  • Maintain efficient delivery routes and schedules.
  • Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate delivery tickets, invoices, and trip reports.
  • Assist in maintaining keep-fill and will-call delivery programs.
  • Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Service & Installation
  • Install, inspect, and maintain propane tanks, regulators, gas lines, and related equipment.
  • Perform leak checks, gas checks, and propane system safety inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and complete minor propane system repairs.
  • Assist customers with propane equipment operation and safe handling procedures.
  • Ensure all service work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company standards.

Customer Service
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Promote safe propane usage and energy solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service and support business growth.

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, NFPA, state, federal, and company safety requirements.

  • Maintain a clean driving record and safe operating practices.

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

  • Maintain clean and organized vehicles, equipment, and work areas.

  • Valid Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, or ability to obtain.
  • Propane, fuel delivery, HVAC, agricultural, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be insurable under company vehicle insurance requirements.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, reach, and work with hand tools.
  • Ability to safely enter and exit delivery vehicles throughout the day.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
