Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Define the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance criteria using a structured framework.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper selection of all capital equipment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing for all capital purchases. Create detailed project plans that incorporate Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), engineering, maintenance, and production timelines.
  • Develop a master schedule and manage detailed schedules for each workstream.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and adhering to timelines.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust meet project demands while staying within budget.
  • Conduct regular status reviews with the team to ensure that project goals and objectives are clear and met.
  • Implement corrective actions and adjust project execution to address any deviations from planned performance.
  • Work with teams to ensure budget alignment and to monitor and control expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and foundry-specific requirements.
  • Reviews and coordinates the inspection or work to ensure adherence to codes and regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections, reviews, and quality checks throughout each phase of the project lifecycle.
  • Provide clear, structured updates to management on project health, risks, and budget status.

Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field
  2. PMP Certification, preferred
  3. 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the foundry or heavy manufacturing industry.
  4. Proficient in project management process and tools.
  5. Knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and local rules, regulations, and ordinances.
