THE OPPORTUNITY
At Holland Construction Services, the Project Engineer is responsible for supporting Project Managers and Superintendents with all aspects of projects. This is a key role to ensure jobsite safety, profitability, quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. The Project Engineer experience will provide individuals with the skills they need to further their career in construction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Maintain knowledge of safety practices and assist with safety and accident prevention.
  • Assist preconstruction, project manager, and superintendent in planning, tracking, and organizing tasks.
  • Maintain documents for the project including drawings, master schedule, as-builts, submittals, RFI's, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and other project documentation.
  • Track material availability and delivery dates.
  • Assist project manager with change order preparation.
  • Manage punch lists and close-out activities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related experience.
  • Construction experience preferred, including internships.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, while maintaining quality of work.
  • Establish effective working relationships with team and clients.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
